Tutu announces hospice fund

Sydney Peace Prize recipient and Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu recently announced the formation of of a fund to support hospice programs in sub-Saharan Africa.

A San Diego news channel reported that the fund is named The Diana Legacy Fund after the late Princess of Wales. The fund will provide care for patients with incurable diseases in the sub-Saharan region.

The Fund is set up under the auspices of the Foundation for Hospices in Sub-Saharan Africa which generate resources and support for hospice organisations in sub-Saharan Africa.
